Trying to condense what you have been up to for the last 40+ years after KHS is like trying to write an essay that would have won you an A in Mrs. Zaffee’s English class! But here goes...

Shortly after graduating from KHS, I went to work for the Army and Air Force Exchange. During that time I married Glenn Tucker (also class of ‘66). Unfortunately the marriage ended after 15 years, but produced two wonderful sons.

In 1985, I married Ronny McWilliams (Denton Senior High - don’t be too hard on him), the real love of my life. Ronny’s job brought us to Marietta, Georgia in 1989. We love Marietta... close to the mountains and just five hours from the beach. But we really had to get used to not being able to see those beautiful Texas sunsets... to many tall trees here in Georgia!

We are so fortunate that our two sons live within 30 minutes of us so we see them often. They have given us five beautiful grandchildren - four grandsons and one granddaughter.

Once the boys were in school, I went back to work and have had a variety of interesting jobs ranging from Executive Assistant to the GM at the Marriott Quorum in Dallas, working in corporate security for IBM, and Manager of Field Services for a medical marketing research firm. For the last ten years I have been working as a Client Coordinator for a large environmental company based in London (the last job before retirement.)

Ronny has retired from his job as a commercial construction superintendent after extensive travel up and down the east coast. He is a woodworker and now has the time to indulge in his passion - making sawdust. We both love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit London, Bristol and Bath in the UK, the southwest coast of Ireland and have completed our fourth trip to Hawaii.

Work and family keep me busy and I’m enjoying this phase of my life... a true blessing from God.

I would love to hear what former classmates have been up to... you can email me at themcwilliams@rpmcreations.com.
