After graduating from Kimball, Robert E. (Ed) Cliver attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 1971 with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering. Ed is a principal and licensed engineer with the Estes, McClure & Associates firm in Tyler. Estes McClure is a consulting engineering firm and he designs HVAC, electrical, technology and plumbing systems for schools and colleges. Most of his work is in the DFW area. Robert married Jo Ann Duyka of Wharton, Texas in October of 1971. Jo Ann is a medical social worker for the Department of State Health Services and works with special needs children and their families in the Tyler area. They have lived in Tyler, Texas since 1981.
Ed and Jo Ann have three children, Jennifer Shick, married to Robert Shick and one son, Robert Russell, Jr. born November 15, 2008. She teaches in Ft. Bend ISD. James E. Cliver is married to Christine Cojohn of New York. They have 2 sons, Michael, born May 18, 2006 and Aidan born November 20, 2008. James works in Boston for AEW, a real estate investment firm. They live in Natick, Massachusetts. John R. Cliver lives in Houston. He is a graduate of Rice University with a BS degree in chemical engineering and has an MBA from the University of Texas-Austin. He is employed by Exxon-Mobil. Ed and Jo Ann enjoy their three grandsons and traveling. |
