Randy started college at Arlington State University right after graduation from Kimball, went for three semesters and transferred to East Texas State University in Commerce. He dropped out of school "to make my fame and fortune playing with the Southwest FOB....too many parties and too many pals made me decide to do somthing safer so started racing motorcycles". Finally, after a few surgeries and broken bones he got into warehousing and trucking. Randy started working for AEP IND in 1981, as a Shipping Manager and is now the Southwest Division Logistics Manager.
Randy has two sons, Scott (33) who graduated from University of Texas and is in commerical real estate, and Casey ( 22) who is looking for his calling in life. He also has two stepchildren, Leslie ( 20) who is attending Navarajo College seeking her teaching degree and Michael (14) who is going to be the next Spud Webb, or maybe Jim Nantz. "And, to answer Jim Holeman's question, the third time is definately a charm. I married Donna, who is my life dream and best friend, in 2000. We live in Grandview Texas, raise a few horses and cows, and are still close enough to Ft Worth to see the night lights and smokey honky tonks. |
