After graduation from Kimball, Joanna attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville for one year. She completed her education at the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Fine Arts and married James (Robbie) Robertson in 1968. Joanna worked in the dental field for many years, before, during & after raising a family of three.
Joanna's son Craig is a 28 year old Speech & Theatre teacher at Duncanville High. Her daughter Kimby is a 23 year pre-school teacher of four year olds in Colleyville. She's still working on her degree. Her other son Kyle is a 20 year old student at Tarrant County College and working full time. Joanna's husband is the Human Resource Manager at UT Southwestern Health Systems in Dallas. Joanna has spent the last 10 years serving the clergy & parish of The Episcopal Church of St. Peter & St. Paul in Arlington as Secretary & Office Manager. "I have been truly blessed with family & friends. My oldest son has been married for 2 years and my daughter is engaged to be married next spring. I have only been able to attend one reunion. I believe it was the one of the first ones. (You know how the old mind goes!)" |
